&
Piedmontese beef is not your every day beef.  It’s different. Our family has raised beef cattle in southwest Oklahoma for three generations on the same land.  We were taught good beef has a lot of fat (marbling) because that is what makes it tender and tasty and that was just how cattle were supposed to be raised ---- Well, our grandparents would probably shake their heads at us, but we have learned and found this Piedmontese beef has a lot less fat (marbling) than other breeds we’ve raised but is really tender and tastes great!  There are folks who have tested and measured Piedmontese beef nutrition and compared it to other meats. Take a look below and see what they have found. All we can say is what we have seen and tasted, and we think this time different really is better!

1/2 Blood Piedmontese

A half blood is often referred to as 1-Copy Piedmontese because they only carry 1 myostatin gene. Just with 1 myostatin gene it's easy to see the difference in amount of fat. This animal was butchered in 2024 and raised by 3BK's Better Beef.
